Christina Ricci make a cameo appearance in hit US TV medical drama "Grey's Anatomy", in an episode screened on network ABC after the Super Bowl broadcast on 5 February, traditionally the most watched programme on US tv. Ricci's character came to the show's Seattle Grace Hospital "not as a patient but in a life and death situation".

The episode's ratings following the Superbowl were HUGE! The episode was the most watched post-Superbowl show in the past 20 years! WOW! 38.1 MILLION viewers tuned in.
