Billing itself as "the world's most dangerous film festival," the eighth annual CineVegas film festival will honor Christina Ricci with the   "CineVegas Half-Life Award".
Ms. Ricci will receive the CineVegas Half-Life Award and participate in a conversation before a screening of one of her films. Read more here.

The veteran Hollywood filmmaker Irwin Winkler is at the Cannes Film Festival to showcase 38 minutes of his new film, "Home of the Brave." The independent film stars Samuel L. Jackson, Jessica Biel and rapper 50 Cent as U.S. National Guard troops readjusting to life back home after enduring the physical and emotional toll of war in Iraq.

Christina hanging out in Miami

Christina Ricci, who recently finished shooting the Reese Witherspoon-produced ‘Penelope’, was hanging out in Miami, and definitely looks good. She's very cute !

Director Mark Palansky was full of praise for Ricci, his leading lady, whom he said fitted the title role perfectly, and whose character shone through the challenging part.

"Her eyes are very special, you know. She`s got really special eyes. And a character that is in a prosthetic for most of the time, they really have to emote quite a lot through the rest of their face." Read more here.

Christina Ricci is selling her three-story Lloyd Wright-designed home in Los Feliz. The house, remodeled by Diane Keaton, is currently on the market for $3.1 million.
Diane Keaton owned the house during the 1990's and renovated the property. "It's a piece of Los Angeles architectural history", said Ricci. Read more here.

" A moviemaking effort with Samuel Jackson and 50 Cent has left for Vancouver because of a union pay dispute involving crew members. The making of Home of the Brave has moved north to Vancouver because of a strike by International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees and Moving Picture Technicians Local 488."

Christina Ricci made a cameo appearance in hit US TV medical drama "Grey's Anatomy", in an episode screened on network ABC after the Super Bowl broadcast on 5 February, traditionally the most watched programme on US tv. Ricci's character came to the show's Seattle Grace Hospital "not as a patient but in a life and death situation".

The episode's ratings following the Superbowl were HUGE! Get this: The episode was the most watched post-Superbowl show in the past 20 years! WOW! 38.1 MILLION viewers tuned in.

Samuel L. Jackson and Curtis Jackson (aka 50 Cent) will be in Spokane for the next month shooting scenes for a new movie, “Home of the Brave,” which also stars Jessica Biel, Brian Presley and Christina Ricci. It will be shooting through the end of April.

Casting calls were put out for “photo doubles” of Christina Ricci, because she can’t be there for all the takes she’s going to be in.
