Hi everybody ! CHRISTINA RICCI has signed a deal to become the new face of luggage brand Samsonite. She will star in an advertising campaign for Samsonite's Black Label line, shot by photographer KT AULETA. Ricci has previously starred in advertising campaigns for Louis Vuitton and Reebok.

Christina Ricci has a passion for vintage. “I view fashion as art,” said the actress, who co-hosted the launch party for Samsonite’s Fashionaire collection at the Gramercy Park Hotel on Thursday night. “Wearing Madame Gres is like wearing a museum piece.”

Putting her money where her mouth is, Ricci accessorized her Sophia Kokosalaki cocktail dress with vintage Jean Schlumberger designed Tiffany & Co. bracelets. Ricci brought on her own creative team to her shoot, as she is the star in the company’s global relations campaign for the vintage inspired line.

RICCI JUST GRINS AND BARES IT

Christina Ricci recently revealed how filming a steamy sex scene with Justin Timberlake for their movie, Black Snake Moan, was more entertaining than embarrassing.

"Well, you know, actors make out with other actors all the time," Ricci told People magazine. "If they're sweet -- and Justin is a very sweet, sweet guy, a lot of fun to be with and goofy -- then you can turn it into a situation where you just laugh your ass off. Like, 'Okay, fine, now we're naked and on top of each other. Hi, how are you?' "

Ricci added that her co-star "was fun to be with because we could laugh about it."

The Grammys don’t mean much to us over here really but Grammy red carpet fashion? I’m there! : )

Like with the BAFTAs, I got the impression that those stars with Oscars invites are, unsurprisingly, holding back their big guns until then so at the ceremonies before then, we’re really just seeing the also-ran outfits.

Those unlikely to be heading to the big event on the 25th on the other hand showcased some great gowns here. My personal favourites were Christina Ricci
